Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake Cookies Review

Ahhhh these were good. I can't say they were wonderful or something I will be craving in the future although DH had me make more, so I guess somebody thought the were awesome. Anyway, the best part was how aromatic they were while prepping. So the first batch I made to specs. I followed diections to a T. What I fond out was they are still very muffiny like rather than cookie like (as my DS told me when she made them). The lemon taste I hoped would have been stronger, but wasn't and keepng the blueberries in tact was a challenge that for the most part excp for a few worked out okay. I suggest that you try and find small and firm blueberries for this. Like I said DH loved these, but requested more cream cheese on the second batch which in my opinion was a good call, just please mae sure your dough has time to firm up before doing the cream cheese step otherwise it gets messy. DH didn't want more lmon the second batch, so I have yet to experiment with that. I also in the future would like to omit using the baking powder to see if that makes it more cookie like insted of muffiny like. Other wise, not bad, will make again, just not soon.
